Won Now!!

Wow.. I’d just won a NOW watch over at http://www.alexshalman.com/blog !! Thank you Saif for updating me on it! It sure made my day! I was just about to go into a sob fest about how exhausted I am from having to do everything at home and at work. But I’ll spare you the details. I can’t bear to infect my readers with undesirable vibes. I just have to shift my mindset and the email about my winning from Saif sure did the trick! :) Thanks for the gorgeous NOW watch Alex! I can’t wait to receive it!!

I’m back to my positive self! I must say, I’ve achieved alot this week. Many unexpected turn of events has led to my prayers being answered. Thank you Allah.. I’ve cried many tears of gratefulness this week. I’ve finally found the answers to getting through to the very special people in life. I’ve rekindled the love in my marriage and in my family. And it’s all happened God-willing. If I told you what happened that led to this happiness you’d probably be shocked. It’s an incident that I’m glad we came out alive. But I’m grateful for it as it has led to the bliss of the present moment.

And I just found out that I am a ‘water element’ - explains why I’m so easily moved. A colleague of mine attended a one-week course on ‘Organisational Behaviour’ and they were taught how to read people’s personality using knowledge in the field of metaphysics. It’s basically using birth dates and adding up numbers to form a group of numbers which create a pattern that you can analyze and reveal ones personality.

I found out that I’m actually good at financial management and that I am a family person. I am also someone who cannot sit still ( I always have to be doing something). Hmmm..very true.. But after watching Derren Brown analysing personalities of his subjects, it has led me to become abit skeptical. How can Derren Brown use the same script to describe the personalities of more than 30 different people? Meaning that it would depict that the 30 people have the same personalities?! He did it by simply selecting common personality traits among people world wide and putting it on down on an analysis script. He sure fooled many.

But it feels great to think that I am naturally good at financial management. It’s one area I’m striving to improve and excell at. So far it looks pretty promising. I still have to figure how to get hold of my current dream home by June this year. I’m sure the ideas will spring into my head pretty soon.

For my Husband

I’ve been working hard on this one. Who was it that told me the first three years of your marriage is the hardest? Well she may just be right. Knowing this, it also make sense to stick together and work on it, nurturing the relationship to bring it to a more mature level.

To me, marriage is about love, respect, trust and responsibility. I really do admire the couples who make it past the golden years.

I have been putting a lot of effort into making our marriage work and last. And without my other half cooperating, it probably would not have been easier.

Discovering how the law of attraction works has been a blessing to me. These days, I am much calmer, I notice how I react to incidences and try my best to control my emotions.

I wake up every morning thanking Allah for everything I’ve been blessed with. I pray every day that I’ll be taken closer and closer to my goals until they are finally in my grasp.

For couples who are thinking of tying the knots I would highly recommend that the following issues are discussed and resolved before embarking on this great journey of love:

1. Issue of where to reside - buy your own home, rent, stay with family..

For me, we planned differently but as our plans were dependent on another person, so were the outcome. So I suggest you make a plan with outcomes that you can control so the both of you would be happier.

2. Financial planning - have you saved enough?

Start your marriage with good credit. Planning your daily, monthly and yearly budget is totally a must.. Also make sure you set aside part of your income for savings. Impulse buy is never rewarding. It’s lead us to alot of debts and also an unhealthy lifestyle since we have be forced into a more frugal life now that we’ve realised our mistake.

3. Family planning - when to have your first child.

What preparations will you need to prepare you for parenthood? Read, read, read!

4. Chores delegation

Who does what based on who is good at what and who likes to do what.. this will avoid the ladies ending up doing everything and asking the why me question.

Why am I listing all this? So that my bachelor friends and my younger bros can learn from my mistakes.

But all in all.. it was a mistake well learned. I’m praying that our marriage is stronger than ever as a result of coming out of it.

Yes, for my husband (and son) I am willing to:

- move into a more favourable home,

- further my studies in UK,

-work in this service a tad longer,

- control my emotions,

- become a more loving person,

- cook more meals at home, and

- pursue my passion!!

When you do something for others, apart from feeling great you will often be rewarded with better. And this I am experiencing first hand :). Here’s to a better life!

On Overcoming Procrastination

I just finished composing a rather lengthy response to a comment posted by one of my valued reader. I’ve decided to post it here as well for easy reading.

Hi there Fauzi!

First of all I’d like to welcome you to my site and also congratulate you on your interest in PD and PF:) That’s a great first step! You mentioned to me about procrastinating and how to go about overcoming it. I’m no expert in this matter but when I read your question, the first thing that entered my mind is ‘procrastination caused by lack of inspiration and motivation’. From the materials that I’ve read, you need a strong enough WHY behind your purpose/goals/intention to make you want to take action. So if I may I ask you Fauzi, have you found your ‘Why(s)’?

For example, if your goals were to pay off all your credit card debts, ask yourself why you want to be doing this. How would realizing that goal benefit you? What kind of pain would you associate with not achieving your goal. It could be that being in debt would cause you to have to work for a lifetime, even after retirement.

Another way is to envision your end goal in mind. Really feel the joy of receiving it, having it, living it. Do this this every day. Imagine the end results vividly. When you do this the law of attraction works by sending out signals, signs and providing you with opportunities. But you must act on it to bring you closer to your goals. How fast you get there would depend on your ability to take notice and take actions.

As for hypnotizing someone to help him/her achieve his/her personal goals, you would have to refer to other experts in that particular field.

I would suggest you start a blog about your goals to share with others. Blog daily about your progress. When you find other people reading on your quest and cheering you on, you surely would not want to let them down. So that in itself will be your personal motivation to keep moving, taking it one step at a time until you reach your destination. Or you could find a mentor who will assign you specific tasks which you must complete and report back.

That’s just my take on this matter. Hope it can help you in any way. Feel free to comment. You can always email me however I appreciate you sharing your views here as it could help others who are in similar position.

Take care! Cheers:)

Starting a Gratitude Journal

Thanks to Saif of www.asksaiful.com for blogging about the necessity of keeping a gratitude journal.

Previously, I’ve tried to take the shortcut telling myself that I am capable of expressing gratitude everyday even without being prompted. But truth is, sometimes I get too preoccupied with other things that it’s easy to not fulfill this part of my duty.

By keeping a written gratitude journal, I’ll be able to work on feeling grateful every day. And like Saif mentioned, being grateful puts you in the same vibration as the universe thus attracting you more like events/things into your life.

I’ve began writing in my gratitude journal today and found that I had plenty to be grateful for just this week. I feel truly blessed.

Raving About The Secret

I am about to pack up and head home from work when I am struck with an urge to write a post. So I sit awhile to get my thoughts together. After watching the Secret movie dvd given to me by a friend, I’ve been thinking about how much more I can conjure the things I want into my life. Every day in my prayer, I incorporate these thoughts, dreams and goals. And every day I am stunned at how the law of the universe works. I know I’ve mentioned again and again how the law of attraction can really get you what you think most about. I’ve even given examples of my own previous experiences. And Raymond has a blog devoted to it. And now I can’t stop raving about it. We can all put this law to good use. The law of attraction does not discriminate. It works for everyone. More in my next post, hopefully.

My Own The Secret Movie DVD!!

Yay! Ammar, thank you so much for the above DVD!! Like I told you, this means so much to me:) I’m really excited about having attracted this fabulous DVD to me! I really did attract it. I was visualising about it just last weekend. I was rereading the Secret when I came across the part where Rhonda mentions how their forum participator put up The Secret Movie DVD on his virtual visual board and managed to attract it to him a few days later. I only visualised it in my mind. And the result is amazing!! And to think that someone at my office (a workmate) would actually give the DVD to me. And him not knowing I actually wanted and asked for it! He just felt like giving it to me! Can’t you see? This is again the law of attraction being put to practise and working like clock work! I haven’t been this excited in days!!

May Allah bless you Ammar. Syukur, Alhamdulillah.. I’m thinking of more good stuff to materialise. And thinking of ways to do more good deeds in return. The more you give, the more you get in return.. You have to ask for it to get it ofcourse;)

Here’s to a joyful day!!

Emotional Control

Going over a few chapters of Rhonda Byrnes’ The Secret has helped me in reviewing the way I implement the power of attraction in my own life. I realised that the way I’m thinking and the thoughts I think really does contribute to many personal occurrences, events and happenings. Thoughts attract things. Anything that happens started of only as a thought. It is that powerful. Whatever you want to materialise, think of it into existence (while using other tools provided in The Secret). Only think the thoughts you want to realise. This may be a little tricky to implement.

According to Rhonda, controlling your thinking is only a matter of controlling your emotions. Your emotions, whether you’re feeling happy or down is dependent on your thoughts. For most of us, our way of thinking is habitual. It’s a way that’s been ingrained in us through our upbringing and experiences. Changing our patterns of thoughts may take time and effort. However, by learning to tune in to our emotions, we are more able to control our thoughts much easily.

When you’re feeling upbeat and cheerful, it’s an indication that you’re thinking positive uplifting thoughts. And when you’re feeling emotionally down, again it’s a sign that negative thinking have taken over. So the moment you start feeling uneasy, bring yourself up and shift gears. Be aware of it, and consciously feed yourself with positive thoughts that brings a smile to your face.

This is something I’ve been practising in my busy daily life. It’s takes time, but it’s all worth the effort.

Blessings

When you’re feeling good, the world smiles at you. The sun shines, the birds sing, you see smiling faces everywhere. Good, happy emotions are contagious! That’s how I feel today. This morning everything seem to be alright. I’m willing for it to be the same throughout.

I find prayers, zikir and reciting the al-Quran helps alot with the process of  finding answers to any issues. After all, who better to turn to when in time of need than God the al-Mighty. Thank you Allah s.w.t..

To me, sometimes it is better to keep silent about certain matters rather then discussing it out loud. Being silent does not mean you’re not doing anything. I remain silent, but my subconscious is silently communicating to the parties involved. I focus and let my subconscious do the talking, coaching and counselling. When sensitive issues are involved and you can’t find the right words to say, this particular method works well for me. You can do it anytime without the other party consciously knowing. You’re reaching out to their subconscious, sending out good vibes, warm emotions.

Embrace them with happy thoughts, pray for their happiness, let them know through thought waves that you care about them and want the best for them. And they will come to know of it. Because you send them good vibes, they’ll feel your warmth and you may find they’re faces light up when you show up in front of them.

Think positive thoughts of others and you’ll have others thinking healthy thoughts of you too! :)

Taking Action with the Power of Attraction

My good acquaintance Raymond wrote a fantastic article on his website on getting yourself in the state of alpha. According to Raymond, when a person is in alpha state he is able to attract what he desires most. In other words, the law of attraction works best for you when you learn to put your brainwave in alpha mode. Raymond also mentions being able to get into this state when driving on the highway. I must say I experience the same thing. Before I read his article, I didn’t know that I could easily put myself into that state. Now that I’m aware of it, I can get into alpha state when driving familiar routes, before falling asleep, when I’m nursing my son and especially when in prayer or zikir. When in alpha state, my subconcsious mind (or so I think) helps me walk through any issues I have and find creative sollutions to it.

When praying, I talk to God and I have faith that He listens. My prayers are often answered. We’ve all heard it before, ask and you shall receive. It is also the law of attraction, attracting to you the desired outcome.

When I’m driving, I get creative inspirations that come to me and I feel like stopping the car to jot down these ideas. Next time I plan to keep a tape recorder in my car so that I can ’talk’ to it when these great rush of ideas arise. Sometimes when I’m relaxing on the couch browsing through magazines, I get an inspiration for a business (money making op). So I write them down. Thing is, I have yet to carry out any of it. Oh yes, I’ve done one. This internet marketing business, my dotcom website, having a mentor.. That’s one big idea turned into reality. :)

The way it is with the power of attraction, you have to believe in the theory or law. Be aware of it’s mechanics. Be aware of how it works. Then when you have it working for you through the ideas and inspirations you receive, act on it. Only when you take action will the law of attraction work in your favour. That is my opinion anyway. You may read Raymond’s blog for more information on this Law. I get alot of inspirations from his website. I hope you will too:)
